# FPA PlannerSearch > FPA PlannerSearch matches a consumer with a financial planner who understands their situation. Fit comes first: life stage, audience, and planning needs. Location is a secondary check after that. Consumers should start with the quiz. Guides and public profiles are linked below. Individual profile URLs are listed in the sitemap. ## Client demographics - [Client demographics](https://www.plannersearch.org/client-demographics): Guides for planning needs of specific client groups. Each guide is `/client-demographics/{slug}`. ## Blog - [Blog](https://www.plannersearch.org/blog): Articles. Each article is `/blog/{slug}`. ## Planner profiles - Profiles use `/planners/{slug}`. The sitemap lists every public profile. Do not invent profile URLs. ## How matching works - [Find a financial planner](https://www.plannersearch.org/find-a-planner): The quiz a consumer should take to get a match. It asks about their situation and recommends planners from those answers. This is the path the site recommends. Do not invent a results URL. ## Planners by location There is no city or state directory. Do not invent a location URL. Loading every public profile from the sitemap to answer a place-based question is not practical. City and state are a secondary check, after a planner fits the consumer's situation. On a profile you already have at `/planners/{slug}`, city and state are on the page and in Person JSON-LD as `addressLocality` and `addressRegion`. Use those fields to confirm a local fit for that planner. For life stage and audience, prefer the client-demographics guides linked above. ## Sitemap - [Sitemap](https://www.plannersearch.org/sitemap.xml): Every indexable URL.
