We provide holistic financial life planning and asset management services for professionals, business owners, retirees and other affluent individuals. At RTD, we have a very simple mission: "With unrelenting passion, RTD's mission is to help our clients achieve financial freedom so they may experience balanced and fulfilling lives." We do this through a process called Financial Life Planning: Discover, Plan, LiveTM. Our flat retainer fee includes all services, including investment management. Our minimum quarterly retainer is $2,500.
It is our policy to offer a free one-hour consultation to prospective clients. During this consultation meeting, you will have the opportunity to explore our ability to meet your particular needs. We encourage frank, open questions about the financial life planning process, such as how it might benefit you, what it involves and how much it will cost.
Richard Durso is the Director of Financial Planning and a Financial Planner with RTD Financial Advisors, Inc. He graduated from LaSalle High School and St. Joseph’s University (BS in Business Management and MBA in Finance) and has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designations. With more than 15 years of professional experience in financial planning and investment management, Richard ensures that family wealth and values are passed down to future generations through proper planning. His passion is to help remove financial worry from his clients by developing a plan based upon each client’s life goals and unique situation.
Mr. Durso is a contributor for the Journal of Financial Planning and has been quoted by financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, and MSN Money. As director of education and board member for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), he was awarded the 2012 FPA President’s Award for outstanding leadership. Mr. Durso is the President-elect for the FPA’s Philadelphia Chapter for 2014 and will serve as President in 2015. He is also a member of National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
