Hello there! I started Escient Financial to make a positive impact on people’s lives. As your trusted financial planner and advisor, my mission is to work with you and empower you to be an active and equal participant in planning your financial future. My goal is for you to live your best life and to have a prosperous retirement. With our work together we'll get you there. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional through the CFP Board and have a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. I have also received the following certifications and designations: Master Planner Advanced Studies™ (MPAS®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor? (CRPC®), Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor? (APMA®), Accredited Wealth Management Advisor? (AWMA®), Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Advisor? (SE-AWMA?), and Chartered SRI Counselor? (CSRIC™). In digital assets and cryptocurrencies, I am a Certified Digital Assets Advisor (CDAA), I'm also RIA Channel Certified in Digital Assets through the Nasdaq Advisor Academy and a recipient of the Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets. I am a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Fee-Only Network, and PlannerDAO. Outside of work, I devote much of my time to my family. I like playing sports and games with my kids, helping them with their homework, and other fun activities. We go on trips whenever possible, frequently making outings down to Disneyland, which my family can never seem to get enough of. We’re all Star Wars nuts, so if you see us around town, you’ll likely see at least one, if not all, of us wearing a Star Wars shirt. Some of our favorite stops include Sugarfish for a delicious sushi meal, Salt & Straw for ice cream, and Pinocchio’s Italian Restaurant for their pink sauce and gelato.
