Legacy Planning:
Intergenerational planning for families and closely-held small businesses. Most people want to leave a personal legacy behind that supports their personal values and perhaps family traditions; and their wealth may become part of the legacy. I am willing to help you bridge the gap between the generations by starting the conversation, because an honest and deliberate conversation now can lead to a more seamless transition later. By planning, we may improve the odds of creating longevity of your assets through multiple generations; and we may make the conversation less about simple wealth transfer and more about legacy planning as a whole.
Multigenerational approach
I believe in offering a holistic approach to helping you plan for your financial future. In the same way, I work with clients and their families across multiple generations to offer strategies to help build and sustain wealth and establish legacy.
I specialize in everything from working with children of clients to help them learn financial basics like budgeting, paying off student loan debt and beginning to save, to assisting parents of clients with estate planning strategies entering and thriving in retirement and helping ensure they are prepared for the expected and unexpected.
I offer you and your loved ones personal financial advice and a broad range of solutions to help you live your best life, now and in the future.
With the right financial advisor, life can be brilliant.
Financial Planning After the Loss of a Loved One
When a loved one passes, the last thing you should have to worry about is financial matters. The unfortunate reality is; however, that getting started on settling financial matters quickly is essential in order to work through potential tax and financial implications.
You may not know all the things that come next or even where to begin, and that is okay. I can help you alleviate some of the financial worries that result after the loss of a loved one and take the next steps alongside you as your family’s personal financial advocate now and in the years to come.
First and foremost, I want to help you to focus on what is most important—grieving your loss.
Interests:
My husband, JC and I have been married for 21 years and have two sons, Deagan (14) and Lincoln (6). We feel fortunate to live in beautiful Colorado where we enjoy the outdoors in our own backyard and are often accompanied by our dogs, BooBoo & Reine. In the Winter, we are avid skiers and snowboarders. In the Summer, we love hiking, paddle boarding, biking, camping, swimming, and Rockies games.
Community Participation:
I strive to help my local communities and charitable organizations in any way possible. I am always open to new ways that I may help, especially in regards to education in finances. I volunteer with several local non-profits including the Evelyn Brust Foundation and the Financial Planning Association of Colorado. I also participate on the MoneyLine9 panel on Channel 9 News. I am currently a Board member of the Women's Estate Planning Council (WEPC) My passion is helping multiple generations of families with their planning process. I look to find ways we may improve their odds of creating longevity of assets through multiple generations.
